Hangs at the perfect height. The Moon Lamp is never in the way, it doesn't take up space on her dresser, I don't have to move it out of the way to dust her furniture, plus...it looks much more natural hanging from the ceiling. If she wakes up during the night and needs a little light to see, she picks up her moon lamp remote from her night table and she'll remotely turn on her moon lamp which will provide just enough light, in her choice of color. The Moon Lamp Sky Cradle hangs just above her bed and provides soft, fun lighting. If it weren't for the Moon Lamp Sky Cradle, her moon lamp would be across the room on top of her dresser and would be too far away to provide the soft lighting above her bed she likes to have available to her. She is getting a little older now and we've been transitioning her away from the constant all night traditional night light that stayed on in her room all night. The Moon Lamp Sky Cradle that hangs above her bed has been a great help and she knows to just reach for the remote anytime that she feels she needs a little light on in the night. She likes that she has full control over turning it on or having it off. She can now sleep without a night light always being on.
