I bought two sets, one for a bathroom door and one for a closet door. The knobs for the closet door did fit -- but just barely. The knobs for the bathroom door -- the lock set does not fit -- it is too long for the door and the knobs sag down exposing the hole in the door. I went to Home Depot to get a different size. But now the post is the wrong shape and won't go through (sorry don't know my terms here). I don't know how to go about finding a lock set the correct size that will allow installation. If I can't find anything unfortunately I'll have to return it. But if you don't have this problem, you'll be pleased with the look. They were easy to install and are absolutely gorgeous. I plan to buy more to put in other doors. I recommend this product. On my 2nd order, the box was labeled wrong in the warehouse and a different style was delivered. I had the replacement in 48 hours with no problems at all. Looked at these for several months thinking they were beautiful but too expensive - well, they are worth every single penny! They are beautiful, good quality, and easy to install. I'm a stay at home mom with limited "fix it" skills, and I had the old knobs out and these in within minutes (with help from two toddlers). Rosets covered the old marks perfectly, the latch assembly runs smoothly and doesn't stick. Every time I look at this door now I'm glad I spent the money.
