I would imagine with it being as large as it is, the handles will not withstand a good trip over to Europe and back without the handles breaking. One of my biggest complaints is the zipper design. The bag does not fully zip closed at the top ends, leaving small openings even when fully zipped. Something literally could fall out if it was small in diameter like your thumb or a little larger. The end sections do zip and unzip completely, but the overall closure system feels poorly constructed. Then there are cheap plastic clips being used to secure the ends of the bag together, which to me feel inexpensive and not very durable. These should have been made with some metal or at least some thick plastic. Additionally, the zippers don’t glide smoothly open or shut, and are definitely difficult to operate. I don’t see that improving over time, and in fact, I expect it may get worse with use. I do love the outside flap which goes over the handle of a carry-on bag though. It is very sturdy, the stitching is very well done, and it goes over the handle very easily. For this, I am adding a star from 3 to 4. Overall, I’m not very impressed with this bag. I rated it 4/5 stars, and that feels a bit generous considering the quality inconsistencies of the product. The zippers though, horrible quality, not sturdy at all, flimsy and when I was just to see how the bag worked and closed up, one of the side zippers that quite literally hold the bag together completely busted open and then when I tried to feed the zipper back into the slider the slider fell apart, it’s not metal at all, more like silver painted plastic. Again not ideal for a travel bag the sometimes gets man handled.
