Expiration dates are on the packages or boxes when manufactured and packaged. It's not one size fits all forever. They don't expire the next day if that's what you mean. **Q: What is the Expiration date ?** A: October 2021 **Q: Are there 24 or 48 bars?** A: 12 "bars" about quarter-inch thick. Not as good as I recall as a child, not the sense of butter-toffee. Nothing is ever as good as it used to be. **Q: Is this manufactured on equipment that also manufactures tree nuts?** A: There is nothing on package stating equipment. But to make they just use sugar and butter and boil .I came from Canada and just love these bars. But have made the candy also.
