Love It!... but....
I waited to post a review after using the MX2 for 2 months or so, now I'm ready. This is the 1st "Android" box I have owned so am pretty new to it all, no I don't even have a smart phone lol. Lets get the good stuff in now so you don't stop reading - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my G-Box! It comes pre-loaded with Matricom's software (I guess) so once I hooked it into my wifi I was ready to go. I watched countless number of YouTube video's on all the repo's and how to install them, why Maticom doesn't do this I don't know, but got through the downloads pretty quick and was up and running. It was fast, very, very little buffering and flawless picture! Now for the bad part - I saw a YouTube video on Xfinity and downloaded that also and not knowing what I was really doing I ended up with something called I think "SuperUnity" that took over my G-Box, Matricom was gone :(. I did what I thought was correct and did a "reset" on the box from the android side which wiped out the "SuperUnity" but the Matricom part was gone also. After contacting Matricom they gave me a link to download on a sd card then upload it back to the box but before I got that answer I went to XBMCHub website and downloaded the XBMC Wizard and had XBMC back. Now mind you I did have the Matricom side up and running a few days before my fiasco so did get to see how it worked and yes I did like it but after downloading the Wizard I found it to be easier to use (sorry Matricom). With the XBMC Wizard it has all the repo's you could want, weather, video, music and maintenance tools, all in one package, no having to add any repo's on your own. I am still running the Wizard to this day and love it. I am planning on purchasing another tv top box and will more than likely stick with Matricom since the box works so well. But if you have a box and want to add XBMC I would suggest downloading the XBMC Wizard for whatever type of box you use.And a big Thank You to all of you that take the time to upload to YouTube on these box's! Without your help I never would have found my love for television again... bye, bye Cable!

it has good picture some times
it has good picture some times, I guess a lot depends upon how fast your connection speed is. because many of the shows I have tried to watch are either blurry or in stop and go mode. like it has to drop # of frames to try and keep up with sound. when I get the 480 pixel programs, t hey sometimes look ok, but many are just to blurry to enjoy. but I am on a 10 Mbt connection. good enough for Netflix, but maybe not this.

Matricom G-Box with Flymote Combo
I was very impressed by such a small box that can do such a large verity of task. From searching the web to watching almost any desired tv show or movie. However; there seems to be a problem with the flymote. All of the commands are not operational.the fn button would not allow me to use the upper keys and the on/off button would not work.Overall I truly believe this is a fine product with some minor kinks to workout with the remote.Matricom has great customer service and stands behind their product.

Bad Device, Even Worse Matricom Customer Service
Where do I start with this box, it was trouble from the beginning. I liked that it came preinstalled with XBMC. I got this set up, it was not difficult, just remember that you will need an HDMI cable if you do decide to buy this, it does not come with that cable (most brands don't). When I set it up and began watching it on a Seiki 40 incd HD TV I purchased from amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IB17BGG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Well for starters only a small percentage of the actual movie screen would show. I tried adjusting the views on the TV but it was not the TV. I also changed the settings on the box and tried the different resolutions. Now in the description on amazon the box said it had the latest firmware and had 1080 resolution but inside the settings the highest you could select was 720. I would have been able to live with that but the problem was that you could only see a portion of the movie. I searched and saw on youtube to adjust the zoom which i did and that was no help.I went online and found out that Matricom actually had a live chat so I went on there and spoke with them to see if they could help me. They ran me through the same steps I had already tried and after that were not willing to accept any responsibility, in fact they said to me if you bought it from another seller on amazon that was not Matricom they are responsible. I corrected them and reminded them that Matricom is responsible for warranty issues and not the seller. After this revelation they asked me to go to the site and download the latest firmware and update the firmware. Now I knew the firmware on the box was the latest one and the one that they said came with 1080 resolution so I said to them the only other firmware available that is higher than what I have is a beta version. They told me to go ahead and try it. I reminded them that it was a beta version and I said "if this bricks the box I will not be responsible and I am going to take a screenshot of this conversation right now". They told me to go ahead with the update so I took my screenshots (which I still have) and then loaded the firmware. After the firmware was loaded, the logo on the box changed to their newer one and that is far as the device booted. The beta firmware did indeed brick the box.So to cut a long story short, I was refunded my money for the box, I decided that I did not want a replacement of the same box and decided to instead get an amazon fire TV box. i really cannot see it getting any better than the fire V box. it has everything, movies, games, TV, music, you name it and since I am a prime member I can watch all my prime videos and music on there. The matricom box was a huge disappointment and their customer service was an even bigger disappointment. I have purchased tablets and other items that matricom has made before but I will definitely think twice after this experience.
