Because they come rolled up, I had to flatten them out for a couple of days before applying (I put them under some dishes to weigh them down) and I wonder if the people who are having peeling didn’t do this.Since I was putting them on the corners of my couch, I folded the sheet in half and made a crease before removing the paper backing, I recommend doing this if you’re putting them on a corner. They stuck right in and seemed like they would probably stay put with the adhesive alone, but I added the pins just in case.It’s not a totally invisible product, but because of where my couch is positioned, I can only see one of them, and it’s not super obvious, so I can live with it. The cats instantly left the couch alone and have been scratching their toys that are made for it instead. But with that said its transparent ,barely noticeable, and my cat lost interest in the sofas a few days later.
