I will update this review when new battery arrives and hopefully keeps working this time.***UPDATE***So, the replacement battery worked however, I followed Amazon's return instructions and was told by the shipping agent that they do not accept return packages like this.So, the merchant charged me twice for one working battery.Tacky trick in my book. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ what a relief *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2021* Like anyone reading this review, I was trying to figure out if this battery really works for my Roomba, whether the fact that it's cheaper than a couple batteries on Amazon meant that it's low in quality, and whether it takes an engineering degree to install the thing. Well, I'm delighted to report that for MY Roomba (model 655, which might be a model number particular to Costco, but I think it's the same as any of the 650 series), it is working great. My old battery was only holding a charge for like two minutes. With the new battery, my Roomba has been going for like an hour, and the light is still green. And I only charged it over night after installing the battery. To install it, you flip the Roomba over, take out the four screws on the bottom and take out the screw that holds the little pinwheel-shaped brush on the bottom...then you lift up that plastic plate. The old battery just lifts out. There's no adhesive or tricks or wires to disconnect. Nothing involving a circuit board. No flimsy or delicate parts. I took the opportunity to clean out the inside (it was dusty), and just dropped the new battery into place. The shape only fits into the spot one way. Again, there's no adhesives. The tape-shaped things on the side are apparently just to aid in lifting the battery out. Boom. Put the four screws and the pinwheel brush back on, and I put it on the charger overnight. Perfect. I'll edit this review if the battery fails after an unreasonable amount of time, but if there's no edit, it means everything went well for months or years after I installed the new one. So enjoy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Roomba problem is now solved! *by K***G on Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2019* Tried rebooting/resetting my Roomba 655 per the website's instructions, and it still failed to charge. This replacement battery fits like a glove, is easy as pie to install, and most importantly, my Roomba now charges and works as before. If you're experiencing recharging problems, pull the trigger and replace with this battery.
