For a case fan, you're better off with the NF-S12A -- it's both quieter and moves a greater volume of air. **Q: Can I use this to replace EVO 212's stock fan (a Cooler Master 120mm which rattled from day one), facing downwards, clipped to the heatsink? Thx** A: I did use this fan to replace the EVO 212 stock fan. This fan is pretty close to inaudible at 1000 RPM (goes up to 1500). But the fan does not move as much air as the stock fan. Idle temps are up 2 degrees C, load temps are up almost 10 degrees C. If your rig is already running hot, this is not the right fan for you. **Q: How much air does this push in CFM?** A: Approximately 54 CFM. **Q: Just confirming these are 12 volts.
