If using as a filter change flush I add 1/2 can, drive for a few miles, then drop pan change fluid and filter,then add second half of can with proper amount of recommended fluid. I have followed that procedure for years on various makes and have had no problems. I pumped out a bit of fluid from the power steering tank, added half a bottle of this stuff, ran the car 20 minutes while moving the steering wheel back and forth. Then I drove my car about 30 minutes and topped off the power steering fluid with 'lucas power steering fluid+conditioners'. The wheel moved so much better, so I'm happy. I docked a star because when I pulled the white tab off the mouth of the bottle, a bunch of purple fluid came out and got all over my hand that was holding the bottle. Made me mad, especially because my toddler was at my hip on the other side. Not really an issue with functionality of the fluid, just pressure in the bottle, I guess.
