All the pieces fit nicely in the box which has a slide out drawer. I like that the pieces are 3 dimensional. The dimensions of the box are 7-1/4 (Length) by 4-1/8 (Width) by 1-1/2 (Height) inches. The pentominos when placed in the box form a rectangle that is 5-3/4 by 2-1/4 inches. The box also contains a spacer bar that you can place anywhere vertically in the grid in order to create smaller pentomino configurations.
