So the weight didn't get distributed evenly through whole shoulder harness. - osprey stratos shoulder harness will go thru a tiny loop on hip belt, it makes stratos kind of lean forward, ease some pressure on your shoulder. This one does not, so your shoulders do more effort. Everytime when I try to get backpack getting close to lay on my back, I feel more pressure on my shoulders with zulu. Others: - this one is thinner and taller (24'), may not fit in some smaller carry in cabin. I use it for overnight camping/backpacking (with a minimal set-up), as well as day hiking. Firm suspension enables it to carry heavy loads very well. It has pockets and compression straps everywhere you want them. The hipbelt pockets fit a large cell phone and the mesh pocket on the back is big enough for a rain jacket or tent body. Has internal pocket and hanger for water bladder, as well as tube holder on shoulder strap.
