I ordered black towels and have a white bathroom, so you do get some lint that is obviously from the towels shedding. It is not very noticeable, but it is there, so be prepared to clean the tub and tile a little more often. Or just order the same color towels as the bathroom and you should be fine. As far as lint in the washer and dryer, it is about what you would expect. Maybe a little more than expected at the beginning, but after a few washes they seem to stop shedding.
