Not squeaky (keep the paper thing in there). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you plan on keeping your couch buy enough to replace all the springs *by F***X on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on January 26, 2020* My couch is OLD! Some of the springs had sprung and needed replacing. These fit my circa 90's lazyboy perfectly. They are kind of difficult to install. I ended up using two long thick screwdrivers as levers to pull the springs into the retention hooks. I only replaced broken springs and now my couch is kind of uneven. If I weren't ready to give up this couch soon I would order more of these to finish the job. I also fear trying to uninstall the old springs. I would hate to have one snap while I was uninstalling. If I were to attempt it I would definitely take measures to protect myself from sproinging springs. There is a lot of potential energy in those installed springs.Once installed these brought new life to the couch. The bits with new springs were obviously more springy and supportive. Even though this couch might be out the door in less than a year I keep considering purchasing more springs to renew the rest of the bottom springs. Now if only I could find replacement foot rest armature pieces I might not send this out the door.
