The pin numbers don't mach up so pay attention. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice for adding connecting headers *by O***Y on March 9, 2024* This is a lot better when connecting peripherals to the Mega 2560. Perhaps a couple switching Transistors or an IC for additional functionality. The connector on the Mega can and will wear over time. Or simply make a flimsy connection. This solution is a good choice to get a solid connection. I use them shields primarily to solder connection header to it. This way I reduced the plugging in and out to a minimum without wearing the header on the Mega. The only thing that I found annoying, was on the double row header of the Mega, the RTN (GND) and the 5V is not routed to any pin on the shield. Ergo, they can not be used or connected to a header. There is no room to route a wire to a solder pad. Well, yes one can, but it will look ugly. Only direct soldering to the pins.
