**Q: Do the crimps last for double strand barbed wire or will it loosen over time if cattle brush against it too much? Does it matter how old the wire is?**
A: Cattle would probably loosen it back up over time. Old rusted wire would break. Still, a great tool for short term fixes.

**Q: The top wire on my field fencing is 10 gauge. Will this work on it or will wire this thick crimp or worse, break?**
A: Hi, I can't say for sure about a 10 gauge wire... but what I can tell you if that if you can bend the wire yourself with your bare hands, then this tool will do the job just fine. This tool is awesome! I wish I would have bought it years ago!!!!

**Q: Will it work on 6" x 8" mesh 4 gauge welded wire?**
A: Have not tried it on mesh wire yet. It does work great on barb wire. I will be trying it on mesh wire in about four to five days. I will try to answer the question then
