Install is not too difficult if you know what you're doing. Definitely not a project for amateurs as the instructions are very minimal, basically just showing the wire diagrams and not how to install as every car is going to be very different. Wires are a bit short so I had to splice in some extra. All in all I'm happy with the kit for the price. Only beef is the box was damaged and screws were loose in the box. Review: Great kit! Worked for my jeep! - This kit works great in my 1989 Jeep Cherokee sport. I had to drill a couple of holes in the inner door supports, and thankfully a couple of factory holes worked for mounting the one in the tailgate (it's fiberglass). The only thing I wish for was a way to switch polarity of the locking mechanisms.
