It's almost blinding so you have to be careful when using them.The set up is simple as its just plug and play. The package comes with everything you need to hang the light up. There is no further purchases needed, but you might want an extension cord as the power plug is not very long. A thermometer/humidity gauge is also included which seems to be accurate.Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.
