So I am a BMW master tech at the local dealership where I live. When it comes to tools, I don’t tend to be cheap. Specially when I’m working on something that’s well over 100k. We at the dealership are having to inspect the V8 engines for oil leaks in places where access is very difficult and are required to take pictures (clear ones), and report those back to BMW headquarters. So I have this Snap-On bore scope kit BK8500, that’s also supposed to be their greatest baddest thing they have. Several times BMW replied back to my emails requesting clearer pictures. Well people I got so mad at the poor performance of a 1300$ tool that I went online, did some research and came across this endoscope. Well, let me say this: DO NOT BUY THE SNAP ON BK8500!! That overpriced piece of sh&$& gets owned by this endoscope and put to shame. When I showed the ease of use, the difference in quality of pictures to the snap on rep, all I got was an: Im sorry, would you like to trade it in for something else?. Boy I almost slapped him!Needles to say when everyone else in the shop got to see the pics, they called me to their stations and take pictures away. Not one complaint from BMW headquarters about the pics. The only thing the Crap-On... I mean the Snap-On scope has on this, is the smaller size on the probe (5.5mm)... which btw cost extra!So there you have it race fans... lesson learned.

I bought this camera to use to fish for a water leak behind dry wall. It is very clear and the adjustable light on the end of the camera makes it very easy to see everything behind the wall. The cable is sturdy, think of it as a camera on the end of a piece of copper wire. This really helps went wanting the camera to fish upwards after putting a small hole in the wall. Nice product !

I bought this bore scope because it's advertised as a 5mm head. My intentions were to use it on gun barrels as well as engines, and other automotive diagnostic inspections. However when i opened the box it was not a 5mm head. So i thought maybe i misread the ad and measured the cable attached to the head and that measured at 4.3mm and the head just over 8mm. Going back to the ad on Amazon the reviews had someone measuring the head at 5mm. The QA section had people saying the head was 5mm, and the ad says Portable Fiber Optic Mechanic Scope Camera 5.5mm for Engine. Already disappointed and i have note even turned it on yet. The only reason i did not give it one star is because i have not turned it of yet and i would like to believe is is still a quality camera.

Excellent tool, more uses than I anticipated ! Got this Endoscope for iPhone as a gift for my father who is a plumber and handyman. He has been working in this field for many years and told me that this gadget surprised him with it’s advanced qualities. From the first day, I tested it myself with my father because I needed to pull a power cord into the living room wall. I made a small hole in the wall and using the Wifi Borescope I could clearly see where to pass the cable without cutting the walls or calling expensive specialists. We got so excited, we decided to do the pipe inspection also, because the manufacturer of this Inspection Camera wrote that it is extremely waterproof. Once again we were convinced about the quality of this product!! Finally, my father got an amazing gift, and I will order another unit for my nephew who amused himself enormously with this Endoscope exploring all the holes in the yard...!! I highly recommend this quality and multifunctional product to everyone !!

I decided to buy this endosope camera after seeing how the inspector used it to inspect my house. The guy connected the endoscope to my iPhone within a few seconds and showed me live the image what was inside of the walls , pipes, drainage and of the ventilation system. I was surprised how useful this gadget might be and decided to buy one for my husband. I'm sure he will love it and use it for repaire his car or others projects.

Everything works great so far!!! Camera works just figuring out how to adjust the cable which is just user error anyway.

Unable to contact customer through purchase only leave a review. Impressive packaging, makes it seem like your purchase was worth your money. Upon opening package I seemed like it had already been used, lens had a scratch not sure if this is hindering picture quality. This is not nowhere near the 1600 or 1200 resolution it claims 640x480. I should get half my money back, the clarity is not there and it's out of focus.

Ordered two of these, neither one would work. First one had already been open, no instructions in box and could tell someone had had cable out and put back in, this one would not connect to phone and lights on camera would not even come on. Second one was for my dad, this one had not been opened, lights on camera did work, he said that it connected to his iPad and got a picture one time but then picture froze, after that it would not connect. Returned them both, had high hopes for these but was very disappointed
