The overall feeling is snug and a little restrictive but with time and wear that shouldn't be a factor. The non-abrasive velcro was a great feature to the gloves which really wowed me the most. They fit over HK and Dye elbow pads with no problems. I played my first airsoft game with these and I barely even noticed they were on, but I sure was glad they were there when I got shot in the hands! Personal Note: I wanted my index finger free of interference when readying to fire. I have full finger gloves for paintball and range purposes but they never really worked well, especially for walking the trigger when you have a speedball marker. The no finger gloves I have felt like weight trainging gloves and didnt protect any fingers which got shot playing paintball. Taking one star off for the awful sizing (the gloves seem to be smaller than the sizing chart indicates), but otherwise they seem like a quality product. My son needed some protective gloves for baseball, he took a bad hit to the hand last summer which left him a bit ball-shy while batting. I have some nice rubber-backed mechanic's gloves that worked but were too big, and frankly if I had to take a hit to the hands from a baseball I'd rather have these than the mechanic's gloves (these have more padding). They helped restore my son's confidence, though he hasn't tested them out the hard way by being hit in the hands again. πŸ˜„ Regarding sizing, the measurements of his hands were exactly at the smallest size (XXS) minimum size, but I wanted them to work for him next year, and people were saying these gloves ran small, so I ordered the next size up (XS). When they arrived, we found that his fingers go just shy of the entire length, I'm not even sure they'll work for next year.
