Totally enjoying this quick little bag, great quality and Luv the purple!!! This item is durable and provides ease of mind when thinking about the protection of your items. I have received many comments and questions about the function of this bag which I could be a great spokesperson as I travel with it and use it for excursions. I NEVER have to worry if an unexpected downpour occurres, a wave consumes the boat, etc. as my delicate electronic items are protected along with always providing me a dry set of clothes. Would purchase again without question. Thanks for adding the purple to your lineup!!

I'll review dry bags generally and this product specifically. It's actually really useful to have a dry-bag for a lot of reasons / activities. Take it when you go near water. Throw wet clothes / swim-suit into it when transporting (but don't leave them in there for a long time!!!) ... perhaps it would be a good thing to take on all vacations, maybe to throw a bottle of wine *into* so if it breaks during travel it doesn't ruin anything else.This pack specifically is nice because of the carry strap, freeing your hands *AND* is useful to easily attach the bag to something else. I used the carry strap to clip it around the kayak and therefore didn't have to open the top of the bag up to clip it to anything, plus the carry strap is long enough to secure it around more things.As others have recommended, get one size larger than you think you need (I think I have the 10L, not the 5L and it worked really well) as you can almost always roll it down a bit more to make it smaller, but it's impossible to make one bigger.

Update!!!!!! I capsized a canoe twice this morning. My SKORCH Bag was submerged, floated and had the hell beaten out of it by my canoe and a million rocks and rapids. The bag worked perfect! After all the punishment it absorbed, i figured when i ended my trip everything would be soaked. To my surprise everything was fine. It was stuffed full, heavy and the top was only rolled over 3 times, but still made it through. I am extremely pleased with the bags performance!Awesome bag! Seems to be made well and the 30 liter bag was perfect size for me. I turned this into a bug out bag for canoe and mountain bike trips. Going to check out other Skorch products

I haven't used this product yet, but it passed the waterproof test with no leaks.I used this product for a Nikon camera while on vacation. The bag itself didn't leak but the camera was damp after a thunderstorm passed through. Opening the top allowed rain water to pour in. Best advice is to have a towel to wipe it off before opening it. Unfortunately I ordered to too far in advance of the trip to return this item. I'm very disappointed that a 13$ waterproof nylon, lightweight backpack ordered from Amazon did a better job of keeping the camera dry on water rides and rainstorms.

Great bag for the price. Large and very comfortable. Customer service was great. The day it was scheduled to arrive they contacted me via email before it was even delivered. Gave me contact info if I was not 100% satisfied. Don't see that every day.

great waterproof (i think) bag. love the outside zippered compartment for easy access to small items. careful with the outter clips as mine came undone while hiking and my sunglass case fell but luckily someone was behind me! the inside pocket is handy too. bag is deep but i use packing cubes to help organize and sort. another inside pocket or a larger one would be a nice upgrade. definitely love the back pack style. wore it for short hike (3 hours?) and it was totally comfortable.

I purchased this bag to use on a hike through the Virgin Gorda Baths in the British Virgin Islands. I picked this bag for a few reasons. The main reason for selection of this bag was that it had the backpack straps and was not just a sling-style pack. The straps were very comfortable and even when hiking, I did not feel any discomfort. Another reason that I purchased this bag was the style. This bag has what I feel to be "more personality" than some other waterproof bags on the market.The main compartment of the bag offered only one small zippered pocket. I would have liked to have seen a at least one or two more interior pockets as it was sometimes hard to find my smaller items in the bag that had shifted to the bottom during my hike.I would note that this bag appears to be very sturdy. During my hike, this bag was dragged against rocks and there were no tears or snags in it.I would recommend this bag as at this price point, I think this offers the same quality as many of the higher priced options.

This is one of my favorite things. I put my DSLR CAMERA in it and hiked through a river! I was so afraid that my camera would be wet. I tested it with my wallet first and sure enough everything was dry. So, stuffed my camera in everything stayed dry! I would totally recommend this bag! Now I use it for beach trips or hiking or.. everything. It's durable. I have no regrets about purchasing this!
