It is not Wool as shown above, but rather is Cashmere-like:Polyester, Arcylic; hand wash -.as shown in Amazon product listing. Feels really nice. Normally I do not wear this combination fiber but in this free-flow cape, it works well. It is "reversible" - great touch! Comes in numerous color combinations. And today, 5/28/17 it's on sale at a discounted price.
