I am right on the border between a large and an extra large hat - if it is made in the West. For items made in China I typically get an XL hat and, although a bit large, they sometimes work. I ordered two other neck gaiters made in China from two other companies; both claiming to be for large heads and neither fit. This item is the only one that not only fit but feels very comfortable. Thank you LongLong for actually making something that fits my large barbarian noggin. Also, these are just the right thickness to keep me warm on chilly mornings while waiting for a commuter bus and have a mask on for the ride into the medical center. And thank you Amazon for your generous return policy for the other two are going back. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Toasty outside mask *by S***M on March 11, 2021* I work at night as a doorman at a bar. I stand outside for 6+ hours. You might be fine walking to your car or from your car to the grocery store. But 6+ hours you start to fill the cold set in and there is really nothing you can do about it. These mask kept my face warm and my neck as well. The draw string is of good quality. It didn't come loose unless I wanted it to by moving my face in certain ways to loosen it. It was also not to hot to where around my neck when we went hiking. I have washed them several times a week and they do not show any wear or tear. They worked out from about 40⁰ to 20⁰. It would work for colder temperatures than that I believe but it never got colder than that here. The overall price and quality were great ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for skiing or cold weather activity. *by P***K on February 19, 2021* These were almost perfect for skiing. My kids and I wore them out on the slopes and had almost no problem with them. The good: thick, kept us warm, easy to use, and we were able to breathe well without fogging up our goggles for most of the day in 13 degree temperature. They look good, and price was great also. While lunching in the car, I threw them on the defroster and they dried quickly too!
