From day 1, this did not work to transfer sound from a phone call - only for music audio. Because the device uses the same wire/port to transfer sound, this makes no sense.It lasted less than 4 months for music/charging and now when plugged in, it will stopping working without even touching the phone or adapter device.Unfortunately, Apple doesn't manufacture dual port adapters so we are stuck with this trash. I ordered a new one from a different seller but unfortunately I doubt I will have a different result. ### ⭐ Does not allow split plug-ins *by K***R on March 27, 2019* I bought the product so I could listen to my music and charge my phone at the same time in my car. When I plug the splitter into my phone, it doesn't always register it is plugged in and so it constantly shuts my music off. Then when I went to plug in the charger too, it cancelled out my Aux cable and sent my stereo to the radio and wouldn't let me change it back until I unplugged the charger.Waste of money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works... mostly. *by A***M on November 5, 2019* I use this to connect my iPhone XR to my aux in my car. It works perfectly for that. The only negative thing I can say is that it does not charge while playing through the aux, so if that's what you're after then shop elsewhere.
