I have been wanting this profile katana for a while. With the unobuki zukuri profile it really makes the blade a little lighter so upon arrival the balance point is about 3.5 inches from the habaki. It is incredibly sharp, razor sharp. It is through hardened steel which is great for beginning cutting so I don't damage the blade. There is a slight issue with the saya, which I'll discuss with the seller. Not a deal breaker, I'm reviewing the sword not the saya! It is incredibly easy to control and VERY fast when you need it to be. You can hear it. It is absolutely a cutter and I got the pool noodles to prove it. The geometry of the curve of the blade is very smooth and has good flow. The ito wrap is very tight and the wrap ain't going anywhere. Very comfortable. The tsuba is super tight and that is not going anywhere either!! I would highly recommend this sword to anyone interested in getting into cutting with a katana, or even if you are well experienced and want a nice, out of the box sword to cut with that has good balance. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Value & craftmanship. *by J***D on November 10, 2019* This Katana came to me with special customization requested by myself.
