They are beautiful curtains. The Embroidery is such a nice touch and adds a bit of elegance to them.The back ground is an off white or cream color, not white.They hang perfectly and look great! They are not blackout though as you can see by the photos. They do darken the room a little but not completely. I bought these for my bedrooms thinking its 70%light blocking. Upon receiving it I saw that it doesnt block much light. Its only one layer material.. there is no second layer in the back that does the actual light blocking. I thought about buying the blackout piece and seeing it myself but it has rings that goes through the rods so I cannot see the blackout piece.My room is east facing so it gets super bright with sun's rays and this light color is magnifying that brightness.
