**Q: how does this pick up balls?  Or is it me picking up the balls and dropping them in?**
A: You should pick up the ball carrier, carry it over to the tennis ball and kinda drop it (while still holding on to the carrier) onto the ball. The tennis ball should slide between the bars on the bottom of the carrier.

**Q: I was hoping that this might work for baseballs as well. Is it strong enough for baseballs?**
A: Should be fine for holding some baseballs (but probably not filled up). However, picking up baseballs with this is a no-go. It works with Tennis balls because they are a little smaller and a bit squishy. Baseballs are hard and a little larger.
The openings on the bottom for picking up tennis balls are not going to work for a baseball. If you try it, you'll probably just damage the hopper.

**Q: What are the dimensions of this Wilson hopper?**
A: regular dimensions of a hopper - nothing extraordinary. I'd guess the bucket is 1ftx2ft, with legs the bucket stands at an adult's waist

**Q: what is the height when it stands on its legs, from floor to top of basket?**
A: 33 inches. Just received mine.

This is a life saver! This ball hooper is amazing and makes picking up multiple tennis balls in a short amount of time. If you are a tennis player this is the ball hooper for you.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great but for one minor problem

Very please with this purchase. The hopper arrived in a flat package and putting it together was very simple (I assembled it before looking at the instructions). The only difficulty was that one of the threads with the acorn nut already on it was cross threaded and, as the thread were already ruined, required a lot of force to install. Once assembled the hopper was quite sturdy and the top locked on securely. I read some of the reviews saying that it took a bit of force to lock the legs but if you set it upside down and then secure the legs it wasn't hard. There are more expensive hoppers out there but I've looked at a number of them and they all have more downsides than this hopper (weight, ease of picking up the ball, securing the balls for transport, etc.). Note: Washers were provided to go with the nuts but were not listed in the assembly instructions. Given how the frame is constructed I highly recommend using them.
