The regular player jock strap would catch my stitches and were not comfortable, but these are the most comfortable underwear period I have ever worn. I ordered two pair and liked them so much I wanted to order more, but they ran out of my size so I went a size bigger hoping they are not to big. I'm a big guy as in fat and these fit perfectly. I'll wear these all the time now.Edited:Yes very comfortable, but fall apart easily the pouch rips and falls away from waistband to easy.
