Thank heaven for this dress.I have many house dresses that have served me well in hot weather over the years but they aren't suitable for going out. I don't go out very much, but when I do it is critical that I stay as cool as possible in the heat.This dress works wonderfully for that--or even just to wear around the house or at the beach. It is a truly multi-purpose dress that can be worn from morning thru evening.And I have found it true to size. I usually wear a 1x to 2x and a 1x fits beautifully. I am 5'7", and weigh 185 with most of the weight around my abdomen as I have a pear-shaped figure. If I had a bigger bust I would probably go with a 2x , but at 77 years of age, gravity has shifted everything south so the 1x works nicely.I don't know what material they use, to make this, but it seems crush-and-wrinkle proof which makes them perfect for travel--especially since you can dress it up or down as needed. Come Fall, I plan to keep wearing the dress with a sweater and leggings because it is so comfortable.I currently have 3 of the dresses and plan to buy more as they also make good slips to go under cooler-weather dresses. And the dresses will be perfect for when the weather changes from a cold morning to a hot afternoon by just adding a sweater or jacket in the morning.I hope the manufacturer continues to make good-quality clothing, at a reasonable price, as I love these dresses. It isn't easy to find dresses that fit, can fulfill multiple purposes, and travel well. This dress does it all and comes in a wide range of colors and designs.
