Amoxi-Drops are rapidly absorbed and diffuse into body tissue and body fluid soon after administration. This medication is also available in tablet form for dogs and cats called Amoxi-Tabs. Uses Amoxi-Drop is indicated in the treatment of respiratory, intestinal and urinary tract infections. It may also help treat skin lacerations and wounds in dogs and cats caused by certain strains of bacteria. Possible Side Effects Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic penicillin and has the potential for producing allergic reactions. If an allergic reaction occurs, administer epinephrine and/or steroids. Drug & Food Interactions The use of this drug is contraindicated in animals with a history of an allergic reaction to penicillin.
