The TAD tubes were placed into positions V1 & V3, then I played some songs on my Gibson SG. They produce a high pitch squelch; not the right tube for classic rock with crunch. These tubes are not worth the price.6/6/17 update – upgraded to 3 stars. I replaced the V1 TAD with a JJ but left the V3 TAD.
