I got it last week and used it for the first time last night to part for some simple puffs. It was SO much easier to get a straight part with the fine metal tip than with either our bone rat-tail comb or plastic rat-tail pic. I don't think I will use the actual comb part--it's too fine-toothed for either my hair or my little girl's. But I love the metal tail; it's just perfect for what I bought it for. And I was sold on this particular comb because it comes with the felted case to protect the comb from breaking, protect the people handling it from getting stabbed, and protect surfaces and other tools from getting scratched or stabbed while it's in storage.
