The build quality shows no obvious flaws, the darker brown color I ordered is really nice looking, and could work with a nicer outfit or for a trip to the beach. They are lightweight, very flexible, and quite comfortable. They feel a lot like a barefoot runner type shoe, with no real arch support, and a very thin sole. Despite the lack of arch support (which I typically prefer), they are quite nice for walking around in. In the rear of the foot they provided a touch more cushion for your heel, which is much appreciated. My only real complaint is that when I tie them snugly around my foot, the area below the laces but above the toe area tends to get a slight crunch. Overall not a big deal for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Comfortable shoe but not a walking shoe *by J***T on August 5, 2017* I love these shoes! I don't think I have ever owned a pair like them. They are a cross between moccasins, sandals, and water shoes. They breathe but not as much as sandals. They are everyday comfortable like moccasins with a fit like water shoes. They are a good "bumping around" shoe. What they are not is a walking shoe. There is very little support and the sole is very flexible unlike a walking shoe. They are strictly a casual shoe and not one that you would walk long distances. That being said, they are very comfortable and I recommend them. I would say they are a little large for wearing without socks which is the whole purpose of a breathable shoe so a half size smaller may be better. I gave this 4 stars because I received the package a little crushed. This was not the typical packaging that I'm used to from Amazon. A less flexible shoe may have had to be returned. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They are so comfortable. Like a moccasin almost *by B***N on May 31, 2018* This is the third pair of Louechy shoes that I have purchased. All of them have been the same shoe. The first two were brown with almost a green mesh on top. I have never got more compliments on shoes before. They are so comfortable. Like a moccasin almost. I decided to buy a black shoe of the same make to have more of a dressier look. The shoe fits the same. Very comfortable. I would like it better if the black leather material was a flat black rather that a shiny black. but that is really a minor dislike. The brown shoe that i wear daily has wore out the insole. I just simply replaced the insole with a drug store insole purchase and the shoe is still going strong. Except for wearing them around water, (water gets in them easy) they are fantastic.
