My daughter is 8 months old, 20% for weight and 65% for height. I bought the 6-12 months and it's a pretty good fit on her. The length fits well now, although I can't imagine it still fitting at 12 months. The sleeves are weirdly long considering the length and they covered her hands so I kept rolling the sleeves up, but it's a minor inconvenience.I don't think this will fit her for more than two months even though it's a 6-12 month, so I would recommend sizing up if your kiddo is average or above average.The material is soft. It's thinner than your standard romper from Carter's or Gymboree but we layered a onesie underneath it without any issue.
