A smaller size would have been much too tight.The costume looked amazing and was a huge hit at a party I attended while wearing it. I was a little concerned about the quality of the zipper after reading some of the Amazon reviews but I was very impressed with the durability of the zipper and the overall durability of the costume. I wore two pairs of boxer briefs to hide my business but it was still pretty visible, although in my opinion this is not really a problem. This is a bodysuit after all. I wore the hood down for the duration of the party, I noticed the hood only felt tight around my neck when I was sitting down, and even then it wasn't bad. It looks just like the one from Always Sunny and it actually fit really well. I'm 6'1", 180 lbs and the large fit perfectly.My only complaint is that the zipper seam, especially at the top, is fragile. I tore the part on the back of my head while zipping the back of the head part up. Not sure if it was just mine, but I feel like the parts that endure the most stress should really be reinforced or something. It's probably repairable, but it definitely knocked it down a few stars.
