**Q: Hi! are they durable enough to stand on their own? I'm looking to decorate and gift give these would they appear cheap?**
A: No, these are not durable enough to stand on their own.  Perhaps cutting out cardboard or card stock paper and gluing between two of the cutouts might help.  I purchased them to give to include in a Christmas gift box.  I do not think they look cheap.  Are well cut out.  They need some decoration and we used puffy paint although I think they could be decorated with sewn on decor, too.

These are the best gingerbread men. Good size that you could sew 2 together and stuff them.  I am keeping them simple with just a red bowtie ribbon.  Put a popsicle stick on back to give them some stability for my project.
