I just threw it down on semi-level dirt and it looks great, I can't wait to see how great it looks when it's properly installed. My dog laid on it all afternoon in the sun, and I live in NM and she was perfectly comfortable. I am so happy with this I am ordering 2 rolls of the 7.5 x 10 size to completely landscape my yard.
