The only cell phone it will charge is Nokia's. Really! While I understand Nokia is has the largest percentage of the cell phone market that is still only about 30%. Then, on top of that, the charging feature only works on the crank, not the internal battery or solar panel. Add to that the charge does not work on the USB. The charging feature only works on a charging pin connector. The PDF owner's manual does not tell you the size, voltage and amps for the charging pin connector. I suppose I will have to find the size, voltage and amps on a Nokia site some where. Then search for a converter.I still like the flashlight and radio part. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Freeplay Energy Companion *by L***Y on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on October 5, 2009* I bought this for my son and we both really like it, however, there needs to be some clarification about the phone charging. It states it comes with a Nokia Charger but does not specify the type of output it has; as it turns out it is a mini-usb output so we had to buy a mini-usb to usb adaptor so he could use his usb charger for his phone. I don't think this works very well because it requires delicate positioning. I made the assumption that if it would charge a Nokia then I could just use the appropriate charger for our phones.
