I have a black pair that I tend to match when I go with my all black gym ensemble. I wear these black and red ones when I mix up my wardrobe with black and red. The padding is great and doesn't interfere with my grip like some other gloves do. And after having these a few months, the padding is still as good today as they were when I first got them.
