SamsungOriginal Folio Wallet Cover Case for Galaxy A7 2018 - Black

This well made wallet gives all the protection your Galaxy A7 (2018) needs and the flexibility of carrying a credit card and some cash in the pocket provided. There is only one pocket so you can't store too much in there. Even with a couple of notes and 1 credit card the lid does not close perfectly.However the finger print recognition/power button is perfectly accessible to be able to read your full finger print.In an ideal world I would like a pocket for cash and a couple of slots for credit/debit cards positioned so that they did not affect the closure of the lid. There is the feature of automatic shut down of the screen on closure and via sa versa on opening the wallet which still works even though the lid it not closing completely. The lid needs some sort of clasp to keep it closed.Overall this is the best option I have found and I would recommend it.

Very good case as expected from official samsung products, hard wearing and all round protection for the A7 phone. My main disapointment is that I would have liked a smart window on the front, like the case they did my my old A5. That was a great feature which I would have liked to see again but its not a deal breaker. They only other gripe is that the case is very tight to get on and off and I noticed it has already taken some paint of the phone corners when swapping my memory card. Its no big deal for me as I wont see them again with the case on but I can understand it would really annoy someone who doesnt want their £300 phone to be marked on day 1 by something that is meant to keep the phone in good condition!Not much more that can be said really, well worth the low cost to have peace of mind, great value for money and durability.

Samsung official covers always seem a bit expensive. But you get what you pay for when it comes to durability, functionality and top performance. I like that this wallet is a slim fit compared to a lot of offerings out there and that the slightly rubbery and padded feel of the vinyl cover is textured for grip as well. I was however apprehensive about the clear sides being rock solid plastic. But the phone clicked into the case easily and it did not damage the phone. I suspect you could, if you didn't follow the fitting instructions on the label. It's almost a shame that the flip cover doesn't have some kind of simple magnetic closure mechanism; as the flap doesn't always stay closed because the vinyl spine is such sturdy rubber (which is good really). So you have to lay the phone face-down to keep it shut. At least the sleep/wake function works perfectly when you open the case! :)

I concur with other reviewers that overall this phone case looks and feels durable. I was able to place it on my phone carefully, and without scratching the phone itself. I only have a couple of gripes:a) Having spent £17, I would have expected some sort of magnetic closure. I've used a bit of adhesive-backed velcro strip to close the case between usesb) I think some sort of tempured glass protection or, as another reviewer suggested, a plastic 'window' that protects the phone whilst in use/tapping away would have been nice to include.

Great product BUT...... zip broke within 6 weeks.

Worth every penny. Beyond me why people spend a small fortune on a phone but then balk at buying a decent cover that will protect their investment. Easy to put on but much harder to remove. All holes etc are in the right place. Feels good to hold, not slippery. Haven't dropped the phone in its case, but I'm sure it will be well protected. Gave durability 4 stars because I've only owned the product for a few weeks. Will amend rating in 12 months time.
