They're slightly larger than expected and haven't shrunk in the wash, so I plan to order a size smaller, but these work for now. They are pretty high waisted compared to modern fit jeans, but this works well for tummy trimming. The length hits about mid thigh and is perfect for those who don't like super short shorts or more matronly shorts. The stretch allows for bending and moving without ride-up on the thighs. I often have trouble finding bottoms that fit well in both the waist and thighs because I have a large waist, but these could work for many body types because of the stretch.
