The text is easy to read and my near vision is not so good and need eyeglasses for correction, though I can read the laptop keyboard well, as maybe a point of reference. The vinyl seems of good quality and should clean easily and well over numerous times, though I haven't gone the test of time yet (new). I keep mine on the pot though they stick to the stainless steel refrigerator well and actually better than the pot due to the round surface on the pot. Cleaning of the surface of the pot helps with the initial application to the pot as the sheet comes flat and the pot is rounded.
