Easy to adjust length with the push of a button, no cheap plastic to crack or come apart in the middle of a task. The floor brush has just enough bristles to sweep, but does not become clogged with pet hair and debris. And it works nicely on small area rugs and runners without becoming sucked up into the vacuum! If the vacuum cleaner's suction is adequate, the floor sweeper will do its job. I can hardly believe how well this worked and I just saved myself $$$ not to mention I have a lightweight portable canister vacuum now! :-) It isn't fancy looking but works like a champ. I popped off the front brush and left the back for a little sweeping action and it is perfect. It does work itself loose from the vacuum hose after a while but it isn't too annoying, I just with the rubber part where you attach the two was longer to get more engagement between pieces.
