What was once considered a simple list of names and lifespan provides an active focus in the lives of the men in the genealogy of our savior, Jesus Christ. Dr. Park’s sincere love and dedication for the word of God is evident as he elegantly references the Bible to reveal what was hidden. I found it fascinating that the line of Jesus continued through the dark period of the Israelite, even during their deportation to Babylon. Also in this book, Dr. Park clearly lays in detail Israelite's return to the homeland – of which there are three returns. I learned for the first time each return had a different leader with a specific purpose. The more you read the book, the more you are drawn as the words become vivid.
