Review: Great replacement! - I got gifted a rocker that’s 30 years old and the base broke. I was looking for a replacement and found this beautiful gem. I’m 33 weeks pregnant and when it arrived; it wasn’t heavy and I was able to put it on without my husband’s help. I do wish it came with instructions because I put it on wrong but once I turned with the two springs in the back and one in the front it worked perfectly. I’m totally in love and brought the rocker back. And it doesn’t squeak or make any noises when gliding. I also had my own bolts from the previous base. This didn’t come with bolts but the other fit so perfectly.

A: I’m not sure but my husband is 215 pounds and it’s fine.

**Q: What is the maximum weight rating for this base?**
A: I believe it's 250lbs. Most chair bases are rated to that weight, the chair bases that go to 350 lb typically are not swivel base

**Q: How tall is it from the floor to the top of the mounting plate?**
A: This base has a 5 1/4" overall height from floor to top of rocker box / mounting plate.

**Q: I have a chrispoter knight swivel chair can I replace the swivel with a rocker base ?**
A: Most swivel rocker bases are a standard size so if this looks similar it should fit.
You can measure the plate that's attached to the chair it should be the same size.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works way better than I expected it to!

We got this to turn a sofa chair we had into a rocker for our baby’s nursery and it worked better than I even expected it to! The swivel is super smooth, the range of the rocking is controlled but effortless and broad. Attaching it was incredibly simple, we attached a 3/4inch plywood to the bottom of the whole chair and then centered this piece in the middle of the plywood and screwed it in. Works like a charm and it’s now my favorite place to sit! PS: The side with two springs goes in the front (I initially attached it backwards)
