Review: Have now got a respectable lawn - Applied Proctors Autumn & winter lawn feed middle of February ( after scarifying lawn ). Applied again four weeks later. Improved my relatively weed free but well used lawn with little moss. Now on 1 May have a thick lush green lawn the envy of neighbours.
Review: Consistent and easy to apply - I was pleased to find this low N, high P K fertiliser with added iron fertiliser to avoid excess leaf growth but good root & stem nutrients for domestic family lawn. Bags are a good size, price ok, and consistent granules. It applied smoothly without clogging through a simple 2-wheel push fertiliser trough. The moss is taking its time to die after 2months but I will assess over time. So far very pleased. Thank you

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can i use this while overseeding a lawn or is there anything in this that will stop new seed from germinating?**
A: you must hoe it into the soil first then plant your seeds there is nothing in it to stop the germinating process or give your lawn a very good rakeing remove all the dead grass then reseed and cover with good compost and firm  down

**Q: Will this Blacken the lawn? I don't want an unsightly lawn over the winter months.**
A: Only where it kills the moss, it does not burn or blacken the grass like other cheaper supermarket type products.

**Q: Will this fertiliser kill dandelions as well ?thank you in advance**
A: hi there it is too late in the year to kill weeds - once they stop growing you cant kill them off!

**Q: Can i add grass seed to this? if so how long should i wait? do i need to add anything on top of the grass seed after?**
A: This is purely a feed, so will enhance existing lawn. If you are re- seeding it will improve your soil quality for the seeds, it contains no seed itself.
Its a great feed and will lush green an existing lawn. 
If you have dead patches from summer scorching, id fork it over, scatted seed, rake (any general purpose) compost over the top (1or2cm deep). Let it take a bit THEN treat whole lawn with this. I throw it around so it isnt in clumps that will temporarily burn your lawn but i am quite sure there are professional duty sowing equipment, but ive perfected the old fashioned aggressive throw :-) 
I also use exilir and my lawn looks lush.

I’ve previously tried all the other main brands of lawn feed and have been very disappointed. I’ve felt I’ve just been throwing money away! My neighbour had been using Proctors and he was very pleased so I decided to try it and I am absolutely delighted. My scrappy lawn has never been greener or thicker and no burns like the other stuff. We have had plenty of rain but over the years I’ve never seen any fertiliser work as well as this. I’d actually given up on my lawn and this was its last chance. Previous photo shows the difference!
