My husband is 6 ft. tall and I'm 5'2" so we discovered there were some issues with that. He needed a seat that was deeper and I liked the one that fit me perfectly! We settled on this one when I discovered that I could put a chair pad against the back and now it's quite comfy and I love it, and my husband loves it without the pad! It's perfect for everyone. It's very modern looking and goes with my stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. It swivels great, has a perfect rail for your feet to prop up on. And the metal part of the armrests sits below the island so it won't scratch or chip your island! These were all things we researched when trying to find the perfect barstool! It is also much sturdier with four legs than the ones with just one pole in the middle. I highly recommend this chair. We bought four for our island and will be ordering the higher ones for our bar area when we get that completed! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall thumbs up *by J***C on Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2019* I was looking for a nicely-designed stool that would compliment my kitchen island and also provide seating for guests on occasions when needed. This fits the bill nicely and at a good price point. Attaching the seat to the base was unexpectedly difficult - I felt like I needed a drink when I was done, and I'm not a drinker. The legs on my stool are apparently uneven because the stool wobbles a bit no matter where I place it. Not the end of the world and I'll figure out a way to correct it, but yes- it's annoying. I wish I could say it's comfy, but I cannot- not a big issue for me because I don't plan on sitting there for long periods of time. It does have a nice large seat so I expect it will accommodate people of all sizes without a problem. The height of the stool is also perfect for a kitchen island.For me, form was more important than function- it looks really nice and I'm satisfied. For someone planning to perch at the kitchen counter for extended periods of time, maybe not the best choice. ### ⭐⭐ Design flaw... *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2021* These stools looked the part and I was very pleased when I got them delivered and assembled. They did seem a bit flimsy when I first sat in them but after a year plus of use, that is a non issue. The padding in the seats starts out extremely firm and took quite a while to break in and not to feel like you were sitting on a plank. That has resolved as well though. The one issue that persists is the design of the feet. The plastic inserts constantly fail and need to be replaced. The replacements fail just as quickly. When they fail, you can hear an awful metal on tile scratching sound as you move them across the floor. What prompted this review is the pack of 20 replacement feet I bought just ran out... So, 20 feet in a little over a year...
