These Natural shelves are not finished or stained. The color may vary - we highly recommend looking at all of the provided pictures! all pictures. Each shelf measures 36” long x 4.5” deep x 2" thick (nominal measurements). Each shelf weighs approximately 5 lbs and can support up to 18 additional lbs. - Please be sure to look at all the available pictures to see some of the different variations of distressing and coloration that may occur. Every nail, nail hole, paint mark, divot, scrape and scratch are evidence of the decades of life this wood has experienced in the barns. We do not add to or take away from the naturally occurring beauty of the wood used to make these shelves. Distressing and color will vary depending on where the wood was used in the barns. The pictures in this listing represent some, but not all, of the natural variations in color and distressing. As this is solid reclaimed wood, please handle with care to avoid any small splinters. - All Urban Legacy shelves are handmade by our Amish artisans here in Lancaster County, PA. Using time honored skills and traditions, these shelves are cut and routed in their small shops. Nothing is mass produced, making each piece uniquely beautiful! - Mounting our Flush Mount Floating Brackets into studs is recommended, but it is not required.
