Does it keep whatever inside cold? No, it will not keep your items cold. It will keep your items cool. This thing is not a refrigerator. This product is made for short trips. I used mine for 12 hours at a time. I then re-wet it slightly the next morning and used it another 12 hours. But I personally think it worked great and kept my insulin cool enough. Also, they call this a "COOLING WALLET" not a "FREEZING-BITTER COLD WALLET". Does it last 45 Hours like advertised? I have no idea. I didn't use it this long.
