This is my first time with these bars. I did purchase the hue sync box that I returned since I have a smart TV and don't use chromcast or anything for streaming (hoping these aren't requiring the sync box) I think if you want to use these separately, you would go into the app and go under labs. Create a lab for one of them and the 2nd to do something different. I think that will solve your issue **Q: Does this work with 220v?** A: I guess by mistake but they have rated it at 240v on this page. And Philips itself rates this product to wok between 110 -240v.
