The charger has built-in JST female connectors for connections to a LiPoly and also to a "LOAD". If these batteries are unpacked and plugged into the charger, bad things can happen because these batteries are wired with reverse polarity and not compatible with the charger. As a result, the charger and/or battery can be damaged and/or fire can be started. I swapped the pins of the JST connector of the battery so to be compatible with the charger. All good.By the way, although I found it a simple process to swap the pins, it can be hazardous if a short-circuit occurs during the process when the pins are "free" to touch and make contact. For this reason (and because people want to blame the messenger when they fail at something) I cannot risk publishing a helpful technique for doing this. However, if you are experienced and competent enough to perform the "swap" then you probably know what to do. I find it quite simple but am compelled to say: "Don't try this at home."
